Miami accountant pleads guilty in $31 million bank fraud scheme
Certified Public Accountant Berta Sanders, 61, of Miami Lakes, Fla., pleaded guilty on Oct. 29 to conspiracy to commit bank fraud, following an investigation led by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
