Default I had a DUI

I currently reside in Colorado. I have been a permanent resident for 5
years, but unfortunately I had a DUI on Sept 11 2004. I completed all the
requirements for my probation. Will there be a problem with applying for a
citizenship. I pleaded no contest.

I would recommend waiting for 5 years from the date of the end of the
probation period before applying for naturalization. Thus, you can apply
around September of 2009 and submit your N-400 Naturalization application
with an original certificate of disposition from the criminal court where
you were processed.
